MADISON (WKOW) — If you know the west side of Madison, chances are you know Epic’s former headquarters building tucked away on Tokay Boulevard.

“We used it as an office space for about 15 years,” said Sverre Roang with Epic Systems. “This was originally a school, so it’s kind of going back to the original use of the building.”

Within the next week or so, UW Health and Meriter will transform it into a child care center. The space is specifically for kids whose parents are at local hospitals treating patients with COVID-19.

Epic is lending use of the space for free.
