Datica, Sansoro Health merge to offer cloud-based patient data integration

Madison, Wis.-based Datica Health and Minneapolis-based Sansoro Health announced on June 25 that the two health-focused software companies have merged to create a single platform for the integration of patient data into cloud-based applications.

The newly formed entity, called Datica and based in Minneapolis, combines Datica Health’s HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based infrastructure for developers of digital health applications, including tech startups, vendors and health systems, with Sansoro Health’s software integrating EHR data into digital applications. Existing customers of the companies include Johnson & Johnson, VigiLanz, Vineti and more.

Jeremy E. Pierotti, formerly the CEO and co-founder of Sansoro Health, will serve as CEO of Datica, while Datica Health’s CEO and co-founder Travis Good, MD, will assume the role of CTO.
