Ten companies, including four from Madison, won Wisconsin Innovation Awards during a ceremony held Wednesday night at the Memorial Union.

TailoredCare, which enables family caregivers to keep their loved ones at home longer, won in the category of business to business. Meanwhile, Propeller Health, which creates products to more effectively treat diseases like asthma and COPD, won in the category of health; SmartUQ, which provides an industrial-scale analytics software toolset, won in professional services; and Torq Labs, which works to reduce lower-body joint injuries, won the people’s choice category.

“The Wisconsin Innovation Awards seek to celebrate and inspire innovation and highlight the creative spirit from the state’s leading public, private and nonprofit sectors,” Matt Younkle, Co-Founder of the Wisconsin Innovation Awards, said in a statement. “We want to congratulate all finalists and winners from the 2018 Wisconsin Innovation Awards and look forward to encouraging an even greater environment of innovation in the year to come.”
