Madison startup Tailored Care to join Boston accelerator

No sooner did Tailored Care Enterprises finish a 10-week program in the Madworks accelerator in Madison in December, but the young Madison company was accepted into the PULSE@MassChallenge digital health startup accelerator in Boston, starting later this month.

Tailored Care is one of 32 startups chosen from among more than 500 applicants from around the world.

“We’re extremely excited,” said Jessica Jacobs-Vechinski, co-founder and chief operating officer.

Tailored Care provides resources to help family caregivers take care of themselves.

Its product, TCARE, or Tailored Caregiver Assessment and Referral, is a cloud-based package of assessments and care planning tools that health care professionals can use to provide resources to the unpaid caregivers who are trying to keep family members out of assisted living or nursing home facilities.
