ImageMoverMD co-founder participating on an #AskIndustry panel at the SIIM Annual Meeting

MADISON, Wis. (May 17, 2018) — Today’s mobile devices work hard to increase performance and productivity within the workplace—and healthcare is no exception. Multimedia capture using mobile devices poses a unique challenge when those images are shared with peers and stored on the device itself. Richard Bruce, medical director of radiology informatics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and co-founder and CMIO of ImageMoverMD, will be one of five panelists discussing the risks associated with unsecured media sharing and how to implement a safe, compliant solution across the enterprise.

The #AskIndustry session will take place Thursday, May 31 in the Exhibit Hall Theater at the Science and Innovation pavilion from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Objectives for the session include:

  • Identifying core use cases for using mobile devices to capture images
  • Demonstrating how to integrate imaging content capture with the EMR
  • Discussing how to gain adoption of a managed enterprise image capture solution
