Epic Systems consultant firm Nordic expands its business model with first acquisition

Nordic, one of the nation’s largest Epic consultant firms, has made its first acquisition.

The rapidly growing Madison company has purchased a division of The Claro Group, a business consultant firm with offices in cities that include Chicago and Austin, Texas.

Nordic has bought Claro’s revenue cycle transformation practice, which advises health care organizations on ways to strengthen their overall business operations as well as increase payments from patients and insurance companies.

Nordic CEO Bruce Cerullo said the acquisition is “another step in our mission to create truly customized end-to-end solutions for our client partners.”
