BrightStar Wisconsin Foundation invests in ImageMoverMD

ImageMoverMD, a Middleton company that provides medical imaging software, is one of the latest recipients of funds from the BrightStar Wisconsin Foundation.

ImageMoverMD will get $210,000 from the foundation.

“ImageMover has a chance to be one of the best investments we’ve made,” said Tom Shannon, BrightStar co-founder and CEO. The company’s software lets health systems securely integrate images such as X-rays and photos sent from mobile devices and other health care organizations into a patient’s primary electronic health records.

The company raised $1.2 million in 2017, according to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. HealthX Ventures, Madison, led the funding round with two dozen investors participating.
