Veteran Physician Dody Fisher, M.D. on a Mission to Improve Outcomes, Joins Forward Health Group

Madison, WI – July 27, 2016 – Drawing on her long track record of innovation and forward-thinking, internist Dorothy (Dody) Fisher, M.D. has joined Forward Health Group as Chief Clinical Officer. With the goal of helping Forward Health Group client physicians make the transition to value-based care, Dr. Fisher will work to help physicians and care teams maintain their deep sense of mission, to help them deliver one-on-one care in this new era of population health management. Prior to joining Forward Health Group, Dr. Fisher worked at Geisinger Health System and, most recently, the Sentara Quality Care Network, a system of sixteen hospitals with over four thousand affiliated physicians, where she served as Medical Director.

“I’m in a great position to help. I’ve been on both the clinical and health plan side at major health systems and ran a clinically integrated network. All were geared to improving outcomes using the Triple Aim as our guiding light,” said, Dr. Fisher. “But we didn’t have the tools we needed to truly make that happen. Now, here I am – with Forward Health Group’s KLAS™-leading PopulationManager® health analytics and data visualization platform. It’s like my wish list; all of the tools docs have needed to improve outcomes are finally at my fingertips. Now I can help physicians make the transition from volume to value in a way that makes sense and is painless.”
